Ageas Bowl Permanent Cage Back Up
After this winters storms took the Cage Cricket cage down, we are pleased to let you know that it is now back up and restored to its former glory. The Cage will be available for use throughout the Summer and wil be open to the public at all T20, 50 over and County games.
The Cage was initially erected at the Ageas Bowl in August 2013 and officially opened by Sir Ian Botham on September 16th. It proved a huge sucess with the Hampshire Cricket fans and saw constant usage during matches and events alike. It was particularly in demand during the Internationals where the queue to try out Cage Cricket was never less than twenty deep. Make sure if you’re at the Ageas Bowl this Summer you pay it a visit and try out this exciting new sport.
